The most widely discussed issue of preventing the coronary virus is the safety of physicians and those engaged in the task, the crisis of clothing and equipment or PPE. Representatives of NGOs, individuals and organizations, including some garment entrepreneurs, have taken initiatives to create PPE based on import. However, it has taken some time to get the approval of the government's health department as the corona is resistant to the design of the garment. Those involved with the voluntary program said that more time would be needed to get into the PPE distribution phase.

Concerned that it took three days for PPE to get approval after applying for fabric approval including fabric. However, after the approval, some factories have started working in full swing. It has come up with several factories belonging to the BGMEA, a garment industry owners' organization. Initially, at least 20,000 PPE will be created. After that, the number will increase much later. The factories will not take any money to make these garments. On the other hand, some garment owners, private companies are financially supporting the fabric purchase. All these PPEs will be provided free of cost to the doctors.

One factory involved in the manufacture of these garments is the Tusuka Group. Arshad Jamal Dipu, chairman of the Tusuka Group and vice-president of the BGMEA, told Ittefaq that special clothing was needed for such clothing. One Nine Tea Taffeta Fabric is 100% polyester. Providing these fabrics is also challenging. However, many entrepreneurs have come forward. Shipping of such clothes was also released at the port yesterday. In all, it will take a week to come to hand.

Those involved in the program said that the PPE being produced does not meet the World Health Organization's (WHO) standards. But with this the situation can be handled. Because a large part of the staff involved in medical care is needed outside the doctors. Although PPEs from different countries are supplied to key physicians, others associated with them will benefit from these PPEs produced in the country.

Naveed ul Haq, the coordinator of the BGMEA and the director of the Mohammadi Group, told Ittefaq yesterday that the initial 20 to 20 thousand PPE were being produced. It will be possible to deliver it within a week. However, once the supply phase is reached, the next step will be to move the manufacturing process faster. He said that this PPE would not be in line with the WHO standards but would help to deal with Corona's current situation. The cloth is not exactly one, but it is 100% waterproof. That is, PPE will work in this design and fabric to prevent the corona virus.

Talking to the entrepreneurs, the BGMEA requested to close the factory yesterday due to the Corona virus. In this situation, it will be difficult for the workers to retain them. As a result, it can create some challenges.
